Trans Pacific Projects is involved with the transportation of wind farm components, including blades, tower components and cells for North Brown Hill Wind Farm, SA, Woodlawn Wind Farm, NSW and Grasmere Wind Farm, WA. Trans Pacific Projects service each project from the point of unloading the cargo ship from any port in Australia to site delivery. Components are manufactuered in both Australia and India. Locomotive Transport - International and National, Air and Ocean Freight, Surface Freight
Trans Pacific Projects, in conjunction with our German partner Trans Trading GMBH, are contracted to transport locomotives from the Siemens manufacturing plant in Munich, Germany to onsite delivery in Australia for Pacific National and Queensland Rail.
Each locomotive is transported by low-loaders on road to the nearest river port, then shipped by river barge to Bremenhaven, Germany. They are then train shipped onto a Ro-Ro ocean vessel and shipped to Australia. Upon arrival in Australia the locomotives are pulled from the Ro-Ro ocean vessel by our heavy lift trucks, moved to site and placed in the rail system with a special lifting system.
