Wind Farm Component Surface Transport Projects
Trans Pacific Projects is involved with the transportation of wind farm components, including blades, tower components and cells for North Brown Hill Wind Farm, South Australia and Woodlawn Wind Farm, New South Wales. Trans Pacific Projects service each project from the point of unloading the cargo ship from any port in Australia to site delivery. Components are manufactuered in both Australia and India.
North Brown Hill Wind Farm, South Australia
Trans Pacific Projects are responsible for the transport of wind farm components and tower sections from the manufacturer in Adelaide to site delivery at North Brown Hill, South Australia. This project is still in progress. Hover your mouse over an image for an enlarged view.

Woodlawn Wind Farm, New South Wales

Locomotive Transport - International and National, Air and Ocean Freight, Surface Freight
Trans Pacific Projects, in conjunction with our German partner Trans Trading GMBH, are contracted to transport locomotives from the Siemens manufacturing plant in Munich, Germany to onsite delivery in Australia for Pacific National and Queensland Rail.
Each locomotive is transported by low-loaders on road to the nearest river port, then shipped by river barge to Bremenhaven, Germany. They are then train shipped onto a Ro-Ro ocean vessel and shipped to Australia. Upon arrival in Australia the locomotives are pulled from the Ro-Ro ocean vessel by our heavy lift trucks, moved to site and placed in the rail system with a special lifting system. Queensland Rail Locomotive Replacements

PNG LNG Liquefied Gas Project
Trans Pacific Projects was contracted to ship pipes, cement trucks and earth moving equipment for use in site preparation and infrastructure work for this ExxonMobil project. Trans Pacific Projects arranged nine (9) charter vessels from Brisbane to Port Moresby, PNG, carrying the required equipment and materials. Hover your mouse over an image for an enlarged view.

Leightons PNG Pipe Shipments

Concrete Tunnel Lining Segment shipment
Working in a joint venture with TransCity, Trans Pacific Projects was contracted to ship, customs clearance and delivery to site for concrete heart stands for tunnel lining segments. Hover your mouse over an image for an enlarged view.

Timber Treatment Tank relocation Cooroy-Narangba, South-East Queensland
Trans Pacific Projects was contracted to transport timber treatment tank components from Cooroy to Narangba. Component weights were up to 35 tonne and 18 meters in length. Hover your mouse over an image for an enlarged view.

North-South Bypass Tunnel/Clem7 Tunnel Project, LBBJV
Trans Pacific Projects was awarded the contract by LBBJV (Leighton Contractors, Baulderstone Hornibrook/Bilfinger Berger Civil Joint Venture) to surface transport tunnel lining segments for the Clem Jones Tunnel/Clem7 Tunnel from the manufacturing plant in Eagle Farm to the tunnel site 'just-in-time'. This project operated 6 days per week, 24 hours per day. Close to 13 000 loads were transported over an 18 month period.
Trans Pacific Projects provided all water used in the manufacture of the tunnel lining segments; transporting the water in tankers from the Sunshine Coast to the Eagle Farm manufacture plant. Tunnel Boring Machine for subway line construction, Singapore and Kolkata, from China
Trans Pacific Projects chartered three (3) special heavy lift vessels over six (6) months to transport Tunnel Boring Machines for the construction of subway lines in Singapore and Kolkata with door to door movement and a tight schedule from different manufacturing locations in China; unit weights were up to 140 tonne. Tunnel Boring Machine scale model transport Brisbane to Germany
Trans Pacific Projects was responsible for the international transport of a scale model of the Tunnel Boring Machine used in the Clem Jones Tunnel/Clem7 Tunnel Project. The model was transported via air freight from Brisbane to Germany. Trans Pacific Projects arranged door-to-door transport including packing and customs clearance (including export documentation from Australia and import clearance in Germany) and delivery and unpacking of the unit at its final destination (Munich, Germany). Moulding press relocation, Biolytix Water, South-East Queensland
Trans Pacific Projects was contracted to relocate a second-hand plastic moulding press from its storage location in Morningside, Brisbane to the new Biolytix factory in Narangba, north of Brisbane, installing the unit into its foundation in the factory.
